Job Summary
The Finance & Accounts Manager will lead and manage all financial and accounting operations of Number Seven Solutions Ltd. This role involves strategic financial planning, accurate reporting, budget control, compliance, and cross-departmental support, especially during software implementation projects. The role ensures financial integrity and operational efficiency in line with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the company’s budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and board use.
- Manage accounts payable, receivable, payroll, tax, statutory filings, and other financial processes.
- Supervise the Finance/Accounts Officers and ensure proper financial controls are in place.
- Collaborate with Admin/HR on payroll and benefits administration.
- Provide financial guidance to department heads on project budgeting, client proposals, and pricing.
- Participate in cross-departmental planning during client implementations (e.g., costing for software solutions or ERP projects).
- Ensure compliance with Ghanaian tax laws, SSNIT regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and banking partners.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks and recommend best practices.
- Review accounting systems, recommend improvements, and implement tools for automation (e.g., use of ERP like Odoo).
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- ACCA, ICA Ghana, or CA qualification preferred.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Experience working in an IT, software, or service-oriented business is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Odoo, or Tally).
