Job Summary
The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the sales and marketing team, developing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive sales, and achieve business growth targets. This role includes managing the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals, and overseeing the execution of marketing campaigns to promote the company's products and services. The Sales & Marketing Manager will work closely with Leadership and other departments to ensure alignment between marketing efforts and overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute the overall sales and marketing strategy to meet the company’s objectives and growth targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and key market trends to enhance sales efforts.
- Lead and manage the sales team, ensuring they meet individual and team sales targets.
- Collaborate with the Finance & Accounts department to align sales projections with financial goals.
Marketing Campaigns & Branding:
- Plan, implement, and track marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital marketing, social media, email campaigns, and offline marketing initiatives.
- Work with the Digital Marketing Officer and Digital Designer to ensure that marketing materials align with the company’s brand guidelines and objectives.
- Develop and manage content for marketing channels such as social media, email newsletters, and promotional materials.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and train the sales and marketing team, setting clear expectations and providing regular feedback.
- Conduct performance reviews and support continuous learning and development to enhance the team’s skills.
- Set and monitor KPIs for the team to ensure continuous improvement in sales and marketing efforts.
Client Relations & Networking:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Represent the company at business events, trade shows, and networking functions to build brand awareness and business opportunities.
- Oversee client presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations to close sales deals effectively.
Market Research & Analytics:
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Analyze sales data, campaign performance, and customer feedback to adjust strategies and optimize performance.
- Report regularly to the Management on sales and marketing performance, presenting insights and recommendations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in sales and marketing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, marketing strategies, and digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO, social media platforms).
- Experience with sales pipeline management, CRM systems (preferably Odoo), and team leadership.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
