Job Summary
The Procurement Officer at Number Seven Solutions Ltd. will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating delivery of goods and services needed for internal operations and project implementation. The role supports efficient procurement systems and cost-effective purchasing while ensuring alignment with project timelines. In addition to internal functions, the Procurement Officer will also collaborate with client-side procurement or admin teams during software implementation projects to align resource delivery and logistics with client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Source suppliers, obtain quotations, and negotiate prices to ensure value for money.
- Process purchase orders and follow up on timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate procurement and inventory records.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and standards.
- Liaise with department heads and project teams to identify procurement needs.
- Coordinate procurement-related logistics during client project deployments.
- Collaborate with clients’ procurement/admin teams to align timelines, confirm delivery schedules, and resolve sourcing issues.
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain an up-to-date supplier database.
Qualifications & Experience
- HND or Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CIPS, PSPGH) is a plus.
- 2–4 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a tech, service, or logistics-driven environment.
- Experience with procurement in a project-based context is highly desirable.
