Job Summary

The Sales/Marketing Executive will play a key role in generating sales leads, executing marketing strategies, and directly contributing to the company’s growth. This individual will work closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager and the rest of the team to identify new market opportunities, promote the company’s products and services, and close sales. The Sales/Marketing Executive will support both inbound and outbound sales efforts and actively engage with customers to drive revenue.

Work Location: Spintex Road, Accra

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

Sales Lead Generation & Client Acquisition:

  • Proactively identify and target new leads, both through cold outreach and by responding to inbound inquiries.
  • Conduct research to identify new business opportunities within specific industries (e.g., schools, pharmacies, restaurants, retail, etc.).
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, offering solutions that align with their needs.
  • Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the Sales & Marketing Manager or CEO when necessary.

Marketing Campaign Support:

  • Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, such as digital platforms, print, and email marketing.
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Officer to optimize website content and improve search engine visibility (SEO).
  • Support social media efforts by creating posts, managing online ads, and engaging with the audience on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Designer to create promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, and digital banners.

Sales Presentations & Proposals:

  • Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and contracts for prospective clients.
  • Attend client meetings, provide demonstrations, and present company solutions effectively.
  • Assist in closing deals by following up on leads, overcoming objections, and negotiating terms.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Maintain ongoing communication with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and offering additional services as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Experience department to ensure that clients’ needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Reporting & Performance Tracking:

  • Report regularly on sales activities, lead generation efforts, and the status of potential deals.
  • Track KPIs such as sales targets, lead conversion rates, and customer feedback to improve overall performance.
  • Provide insights into customer needs and preferences to help shape future sales and marketing strategies.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably in the IT or software solutions industry.
  • Experience with CRM systems (preferably Odoo) and basic digital marketing tools.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, from lead generation to closing deals.
