Job Summary

The Stockwise Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating stock-taking services offered to client businesses across different sectors. This role ensures the accurate collection, recording, and reporting of inventory data, and works closely with internal departments such as Admin/HR, IT, and Finance to ensure service quality and timely delivery of client reports.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

Stock-Taking Operations:

  • Plan, schedule, and oversee stock-taking activities for clients in retail, pharmacy, supermarkets, etc.
  • Coordinate with team members and ensure all materials, devices, and logistics for stock-taking are ready.
  • Ensure strict adherence to client SOPs and stock auditing best practices.

Client Engagement & Coordination:

  • Liaise with clients before, during, and after each engagement to ensure expectations are managed and met.
  • Present stock count results and reports to clients and provide clarification on discrepancies.

Team Management & Supervision:

  • Supervise stock-taking teams and ensure proper training and orientation before deployment.
  • Collaborate with HR/Admin to onboard temporary or contract staff where needed.
  • Ensure that all personnel maintain professional standards and conduct.

Data Accuracy & Reporting:

  • Ensure accurate data collection during physical counts and resolve any inconsistencies.
  • Compile detailed reports including stock summaries, variance analyses, and actionable recommendations.
  • Submit client-ready reports within defined timelines.

Process Improvement & Technology Integration:

  • Recommend process improvements for better accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to introduce tech tools (e.g., barcode scanners, tablets, software) for better results.
  • Ensure stock data is properly uploaded or synchronized with client ERP or inventory systems where applicable.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Logistics, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in inventory management, logistics, or stock-taking operations.
  • Prior experience with stock-taking for retail or FMCG businesses is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with inventory or ERP software is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license is a plus (for site visits and team supervision).
